Beautiful gorge that was hardly expected here.

At the time after the rain it was very difficult to get directly to the water.

Nice to drive, very long asphalt road through the forest.

The asphalted path is an old railway line that was originally used by the Siebenmühlentalbahn, which was closed in 1956. The current, well-developed path is federal property and is therefore also called the "Federal Hiking Trail". The path leads from Burkhardtsmühle in Aichtal (between Waldenbuch and Aichtal-Neuenhaus) up to Leinfelden-Musberg. The gradient is moderate and lies between 0% and 1% over the entire route, making it easy to ride uphill even with a bio-bike. The good surface is also ideal for inline skating. The total length of the route between Burkhardtsmühle and Musberg is around 8 km.

a narrow, beautiful footbridge leads over the stream. Not for the fearful but wide enough to actually be able to cross easily. The hike is worth it for the unusual footbridge and the beautiful little waterfall alone. The next time I would run the rod the other way around so that the highlights come at the end and not at the beginning;)

Nice tour for those who are looking for a long walk in beautiful nature. The varied path leads past beautiful meadows and paddocks and dives into the forest to follow the Aich on winding paths through the forest. The paths are lined with unbelievable wild garlic fields, their scent and the rustling brook accompanies the hiker on the entire tour.
