The Beerwalde dump is a landmark of the community of Lobichau that can be seen from afar. It symbolizes a piece of mining history and the new beginning for people and nature in this region. Resurrection Aurora combines today's revival of the landscape and the memory of the former local mining industry, for which Aurora, the goddess of light, was the symbol of the happy rise.

Great view from above to Ronneburg and Gera. Open only on weekends.

Easy to drive, with brisk and winding curves and also a few really long jumps. 👌

Not only known from the MTB race that led over the dump, you can do sports here and enjoy the view. Be careful: there are closing times for the gate at the entrance.

Beautiful trail that can be driven flowig. Smaller and larger waves and many curves are lined up and you get something to do in the small forest. From the main road, the entrance is to the left of the fence or immediately after the small staircase to the left. So you can use the natural course of the terrain. If you turn right after the stairs, there is a parallel path through the grove, but it has less to offer in terms of driving technique. 💪😉 Shortly before the end of the grove, both paths lead together. You can therefore also drive it as a lap.

Demanding beautifully made trail

Single trail from the Fuchsberg into the Sahn with some small obstacles and jumps. Also a recommendation for hikers to avoid the switchbacks above the cream park (MTB traffic is expected on the trail!). Seems to have been created recently (May 2020) by dedicated enduro enthusiasts. (In April I tried to cut my way through the forest here and got stuck in the thicket. 😃)
