Spring 2024: several trees lie on the trail

Demanding single trail with some quite sloping, slippery spots... rather only for experienced mountain bikers or insert pushing passages at the critical points

Great trail, but you have to concentrate a bit when driving. But it's fun.

Also recommendation! Very nice single trail parallel to / above the Witzenhausen - Hundelshausen cycle path

Small nice descent through the forest. That's fun.

This trail runs along the Werra-Burgen-Steig X5 H, above the L 3464, between the northern hiking car park, below Ludwigstein Castle and the Öhrchen playground. A trail that includes some demanding sections, but is a lot of driving pleasure. The Werra-Burgen-Steig is a well-traveled hiking trail and due to the often narrow conditions in this section of the route, consideration should be given to hikers.

Great bike path and also suitable for hiking!
