The hike from Dittersbach through the Lieblingstal valley and on through the Wesenitz valley back to Dittersbach is truly beautiful, even in winter. Parking in Dittersbach near the DISKA supermarket is very easy. This tour is also very suitable for families with young children. At the end, there's a lovely playground and a self-service ice cream stand. Along the way, there are many interesting things for young and old to admire. In summer, you can enjoy panoramic views from the "Schöne Aussicht" (Beautiful View) tower.

Haarweiden Reservoir in the eastern part of the Dresden Heath, near Ullersdorf. Information: This small reservoir was created in the 1930s by damming the Haarweidenbach stream. The wildly romantic Seifersdorfer Tal is one of the oldest landscape gardens in Germany. Friedrich spent wonderful days here with his friend Kügelgen, which he was able to enjoy to the fullest and in a carefree manner that was rare for him. Johann Gottlieb Naumann, Jean Paul, Elisa von der Recke and Theodor Körner also hiked through the valley with its historic watermills and many monuments.
