マインツの風車 ニーダーザクセン州で最も小さいとされる「Erdholländer」（10）は、1867年にブットフォルデに建てられました。より一般的な「Gallerieholländer」とは異なり、このタイプの風車では、羽根が地面近くまで伸びています。 1923年に、この風車は製粉業者マインツによって購入され、タンネンハウゼンに移築されました。老朽化が激しかった風車は、1990年代半ばに完全に修復され、現在ではタンネンハウゼン村、交通、郷土史協会（Mühlen-, Verkehrs- und Heimatverein Tannenhausen e.V.）によって博物館の風車として運営されています。 出典:https://www.ewiges-meer-route.de/ewiges-meer-route/

The story is scary

With a surface area of 89.2 hectares, the Eternal Sea is Germany's largest raised bog lake. The boardwalk around the nature reserve is currently closed. Only the path to the sea is open and can be reached from the parking lot in just a few minutes. There is a small platform and a bench.

The man from Bernuthsfeld is a bog body dating from the late 7th or early 8th century that was found in 1907 in the Hogehahn moor near Tannenhausen in the Aurich district. A special feature of this archaeological find is the man's extraordinarily well-preserved woollen clothing.

A very beautiful moorland landscape, highly recommended.

At around 6.5 m high, the Meints Mill is the smallest mill of this type in Lower Saxony. It is a one-story earth Dutchman with a codend and krojrad (device at the back of the cap with which the mill is turned into the wind by hand). The mill was originally in Endzetel (Buttforde), where it was built in 1867 and used as a grinding and water pumping mill. In 1923, master miller Heinrich Meints bought the mill and had it rebuilt in Aurich-Tannenhausen. The mill operations were shut down around 1960. By the 1990s the mill had fallen into serious disrepair. An association restored the mill in 1993/1994. Since then it has been fully operational again.
