For me, the Hexentrail is the most beautiful trail in the Freiburg area. It is not as technically demanding as Canadian, Borderline or Baden to the Bone, but it has something to offer for all levels of difficulty. It is suitable for beginners, but the necessary respect should not be lacking. Even for advanced riders, jumps, higher steps and flowing sections alternate. A really successful trail in itself. You can also see the work that Mountainbike Freiburg e. V. puts into it. The trail is constantly being improved and new elements added. Thank you very much for your work.

The Hexentrail is a super beautiful trail for anyone with some mountain biking experience.

This trail is not for everyone as mentioned above. It requires experience and is not for beginners!!! Please leave these sayings, unfortunately the emergency doctor has to be called too often.

Flowing, playful trail without major hurdles. Also very feasible for a 62-year-old e-MTBiker like me. Berms, a few roots, short steep sections nicely integrated into sunken paths, smaller jumps (for enthusiasts) and some rooty hairpin bends are also included. I particularly like sections 1 and 2 (sections 1 and 2 of the borderline trail are really of a different caliber).

Great trail. Something for everyone. Clear recommendation. Uphill can also be done without an E;)

Very flowy to ride with some difficult spots.

After the first, very rough sections, the borderline first becomes flatter, tamer and more flowing (you can also only get on the trail here). Then the jump line follows, which comes up with some tables and neighbors. Everything can also be rolled over and is therefore ideal for practicing jumps. Then, by the way, it gets steeper and a little rougher again (but never as rough as at the beginning).
