The section of the Aller Cycle Path from Hornbostel to just before Marklendorf runs idyllically along the Aller River and offers a quiet, natural route with a high recreational value. The path is paved in sections, otherwise smooth gravel, easy to navigate, and almost entirely flat, making it ideal for leisurely bike rides—whether with the family, on an e-bike, or on a touring bike. The landscape is characterized by river meadows, pastures, and forests, with beautiful views of the Aller River itself in places. Overall, this section is a pleasantly quiet, scenically diverse section of the Aller Cycle Path, perfect for relaxing rides in natural surroundings.

There is an information sign on the hiking trail pointing to the burial mounds in the Krelinger Heide. Simply walk a few meters into the forest at the height of the sign, then the attentive observer can see the grave mounds piled up on the forest floor.

A great route to drive in a beautiful landscape.

A nice overview of the leash. Directly behind the Bothmer mill. Unfortunately, I couldn't get directly to the water at this point because the shore was fenced off with pasture fences.

A small but beautiful heath area in the middle of the forest. You can drive directly to this heath area via the adjacent dirt road.
