This meadow orchard in the middle of the forest was the first attempt in the country to grow fruit on a dumping area. The first 325 cherry trees were planted in 1955, and 500 apple trees four years later. In the meantime, there was also a duck fattening barn and a greenhouse for vegetables. However, due to a misjudgment of the location, the fruit harvest fell far short of expectations. The duck barn and greenhouse went bankrupt. After the area was neglected for a long time, it was finally converted into a meadow orchard.

The former rose garden with the wonderful fountain in the Lindenau Castle Park is a wonderful place to take a break. Even though unfortunately there is no longer any water coming from the fountain's gargoyles and instead of growing roses, people show up there with memorial stones on the occasion of their wedding, silver wedding anniversary, death, etc., this place is still beautifully maintained and a place of peace in the park .

Zochauer Heideturm The Zochauer Heideturm was built in 2008 in the Königsbrücker Heide. The observation tower is part of the Königsbrücker Heide nature reserve, which was created in 1992 from the former military area and military training area near Königsbrück.
