Thieves and robbers are said to have once stayed in these rock cellars. The southern castle with its impressive residential tower was built between 1330 and 1350. Tours of parts of the inhabited complex are only possible by appointment. The legendary Lichtenstein ruins are among the most beautiful in the region and are freely accessible. Around 20 panels and display cases provide valuable information about the castle.
