Fantastic path between the Karlstal and the Naturfreundehaus Finsterbrunner Tal

The path from the Karlstal Gorge to the Naturfreundehaus Finsterbrunnertal is completely shaded along the Moosalbe, with several places to stop for refreshments. Partial overlap with the Trippstadt Eisenhüttenweg: https://www.trippstadt.de/discoveren/eisenhuettenweg-trippstadt.html

A spring biotope to the right of the path before you reach the manor house. The ice-cold water flows into the Moosalb.

At this point I would like to quickly say something about the source (whereby it corresponds to the art of poetry / if this 'source' is a 'fountain'): To quote the incomparable humorist Heinz Erhardt (1909 – 1979), who was known to a wide audience for his wordplay and “another poem,” with a short quatrain: "There's certainly a lot of beauty in it, on the element, the wet. Because you can drink the water. But you can leave it alone." (H.Erhardt)

The Brunnenwanderweg near Kaiserslautern is up to 16 km long. There are nine wells on this path.

The hiking trails along the Moosalpe are highly recommended

Very nice to run. If it rained you should be careful as it is a bit muddy in some places.

The Moossalb rises near Johanniskreuz, flows through the Oberhammer, then through the Karlstal Gorge, before it flows into the Schwarzbach for a few kilometers at Waldfischbach. A beautiful stream that is worth accompanying.
