The Stork Association has set up an impressive bird trail that is a great destination for nature lovers and families alike. The bird trail is not only educational, but also scenic. It leads through picturesque fields and forests and offers numerous rest areas where you can enjoy nature.

In Central Europe, inland dunes and drifting sand fields are spatially separated from the coastal dunes on the North and Baltic Sea coasts. These are aeolian formations made of sand, i.e. H. they were originally created by the wind. They were mostly blown up under cold-climatic, periglacial conditions at the end of the Weichselian or Würm Ice Age, a little more than 10,000 years ago.
