The Fohrenbühl can be approached from 4 sides and thus optimally combined with a racing bike tour. As an ascent from the valley, I recommend the Kirnbach, where the entrance is at Wolfach. Both the Schramberg side and the Hornberg side are suitable as a descent, both of which lead back to Wolfach.

The ascent from Hornberg is crisp, but wonderful. The road leads straight up the valley in several ramps with up to 19%. In between, however, you can always take a breath and enjoy the wonderful nature.
