The "Robbers' Cave" is located in the Idstedt Forest south of the town of Idstedt. Coming from Schleswig, it is located 150 meters behind the "Wilhelmslust" junction on the right-hand side of the road. The Idstedt Robbers' Cave is one of the few passage graves in Schleswig-Holstein that is still in good condition. It consists of a chamber and a structurally separated passage. The Neolithic megalithic structure dates from the Funnel Beaker culture and was built between 3,500 and 2,800 BC. To this day, it has not been proven whether robbers ever stayed inside the cave.

Beautiful sculpture at the Cape of Freedom in Schleswig. There are many places to sit on the promenade with a view of the Schlei. The Statue of Liberty is a work of art and declared a sea mark. The garden is free to visit, but the globe costs extra. It is not a run-of-the-mill globe, however, and you can walk inside. A small planetarium!

Neuwerk Garden – Baroque Garden Art in Schleswig The Neuwerk Garden, with its ornate terraces, the Reflecting Pond, and the Hercules statue, invites you to take a stroll in the footsteps of the Baroque gardens surrounding Gottorf Castle. Particularly worth seeing is the modern replica of the historic Gottorf Globe. Note: Off-season, the figures around the fountain are covered with a white tarpaulin.
