Emmendingen's old town is a harmonious blend of history, architecture, and contemporary vibrancy. From its medieval origins and historic city gate to the bustling market square – it's an ideal place for a leisurely stroll, combining culture and local charm.

That was the reason for this tour: easy and flowing at first, but then there are a few very nice switchbacks, some of which are quite tight. You can see that on the map 😉

You can take it with you on part of our route, but for full downhill fun, you should come here specifically and ride down it a few times. There are various variations, from flowy to quite rocky.

This is where everyone meets: shoppers, people interested in historical events and, of course, those who enjoy an Aperol, a glass of Baden wine or a fresh beer (there are also non-alcoholic drinks...)

Flowing trail, fun to ride.

Wonderful, long descent from the Kandel - mostly flowing and not too difficult. Only a short rocky passage is very difficult and would probably be a short carrying/pushing passage for most people.
