There are rest stops at regular intervals along the path, and several newly created playgrounds also invite you to linger. Coming from Regensburg, the surface is initially asphalt, later changing to gravel.

Coming from Regensburg, the surface is initially asphalt, later changing to gravel.

There's no direct access, but it's only a few meters of rock climbing. If you come from above, you almost rush past without seeing it.

Great trail and the scenery is amazing

I cycled the Regental cycle path from Cham to Furth im Wald and back. The entire route is asphalted, with a few slight inclines. Just before and after Arnschwang you have to cycle on the road for 100m, otherwise you are always on the cycle path. Very busy. But highly recommended

Great bike route to Falkenstein

Very well-preserved ruins of the former castle complex with numerous short descriptive boards. Audio guide can be scanned as a QR code at the entrance.
