An absolute must for mountain bikers in the region looking to have fun. But be careful, the trail is challenging and leaves little room for error, especially for beginners. The trail is more for advanced riders, but that's been adequately described by previous speakers.

A challenging trail with S3 sections, well-built, and enjoyable to ride. However, the climb is also demanding and challenging on a bio-bike 😰 Definitely not suitable for beginners!

A very well-built MTB trail. Not recommended for beginners. It has many steep sections and roots. It's easy to ride in dry conditions.

Finally, enjoy a beer at the Hexahäusle. 🍺

Awesome S2/S3 with a pretty steep climb

With the full suspension bike, you can ride smoothly over the roots. After the gate at the beginning of the pasture, there are smaller steps that you skirt on the left. After that, you're spoiled for choice: either to the left over a short, steep, stepped section along the precipice, or to the right, leisurely through a narrow hollow. The left is definitely doable and offers pure adrenaline :)

I can only agree with Tobi. I fell over just before a steep section in front of a stream, and it was a bit muddy. If you know the route, you can get through it easily with a full suspension bike. But it's quite enduro-oriented in places. A new trail is currently being built below the Gschwender Horn :) Edit 05/2025: Yesterday I rode the entire route from Gschwender Horn on the 160 mm full suspension bike. I couldn't stop grinning, it was so good.

Downhill: At first it seems inconspicuous because you can avoid the stairs, but it soon becomes clear that the S3 classification is no coincidence. And as always with trails with roots and steps with wooden edges, the same applies here - be particularly careful when it's wet! When you come out of the forest below, there is a fairly narrow passage onto a pasture. If you're travelling with "heavy equipment" and saddlebags like me, it gets tight here. Uphill: In my opinion, only rideable with advanced trial skills.
