Our hike through the forest, with the river and lots of greenery, was really beautiful in terms of scenery. There are several small bridges and benches where you can take a break. In total, we hiked 2.25 km / 1 hour and really enjoyed the circular route along the Weißer Kocher to the source of the Kocher in Unterkochen!

Limestor Dalkingen is a unique Roman triumphal monument on the Upper Germanic-Rhaetian Limes and is one of its most impressive ruins.[1] Since 2005, the ancient border crossing, which was converted into a triumphal arch under Emperor Caracalla, has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site together with the entire Roman Limes complex in Germany and is part of the open-air museum on the Rhaetian Limes, which was established in 1972, which also includes the nearby Buch[2] fort and its civilian settlement. A paved circular path leads around the lake. There are many places to rest and there is also a sunbathing area for bathers. However, it gets very busy here on weekends in the summer.
