The trail has a new entry point right next to the parking lot and has been generally "spruced up"—meaning the route has been improved and berms have been added in many places, making the trail much more rideable. However, the natural character has been retained. Great, thank you very much for that! 👏

Easy to ride at the beginning. The final third is steep. Simply unrideable at my level. Lots of loose rocks, large steps, and tight turns that leave little room for error. It's a real challenge.

The VWZ Trail is located directly at the "An der Steige" parking lot between Aalen and Brastelburg. The upper section is more technical, with many root sections, curves, and a wave that can be jumped. After a short uphill climb, the trail then moves onto the faster section. One of the best and most varied trails in the area. The first part is beautifully laid out, with two jumps, then it gets more and more technical with rocky ledges and really steep sections. I can't ride the short, eponymous part with the penguin, because it is very narrow and exposed, which is not compatible with a strong fear of heights :)
