約5,000年前の漏斗杯形土器文化の巨石墓地は、キリスト教化とそれに伴う教会の建設の過程で破壊されました。1962年以来、オストフリースラント地方の指導の下で巨石墓（9）が調査されてきました。そこから見つかったボウルや石器などの遺物は、アウリッヒ歴史博物館に展示されています。 地元で「バター、パン、チーズ「Botter, Brood und Kääs」とも呼ばれる、オリジナルのまま保存された3つの漂流岩は、2014年に、巨石墓の規模を説明するために、それぞれ約トンの重さの、人間ほどの高さの7つの石が追加されました。 出典: https://www.ewiges-meer-route.de/ewiges-meer-route/

The man from Bernuthsfeld is a bog body dating from the late 7th or early 8th century that was found in 1907 in the Hogehahn moor near Tannenhausen in the Aurich district. A special feature of this archaeological find is the man's extraordinarily well-preserved woollen clothing.

Tannenhausen large stone grave In 2014, with the support of archaeologists from the East Frisian landscape, the city of Aurich had a large stone grave reconstructed with seven head-high boulders, each weighing around five tons. In addition, a circular route was created and boards with information about the structure and significance of the large stone grave were set up. It is assumed that the few Stone Age grave complexes in East Frisia were destroyed during that time. The complex in Tannenhausen (approx. 3,500 BC) is therefore a clear example of a large stone grave from the Funnel Beaker culture period, which is impressive for students due to its dimensions.
