Really a nice rest area with a nice shelter. The spring was named after Einhard, who held many positions and offices for Charlemagne. It is a source of drinking water and is located very close to the refuge.

The Reinheimer Teich is a nature reserve northeast of Reinheim in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district. It consists of several open water areas, reed beds, wet meadows and extensive pastures with a total area of around 75 hectares.
