The Deutsches Eck of the Westerwald is located exactly at the confluence of the Große Nister and the Kleine Nister near Heimborn, a small town in the Hachenburg collective municipality in the Kroppacher Schweiz. This hiking highlight presents itself to hikers in an idyllic way, embedded in a meadow between the two rivers. A hiking hut, a playground and several benches invite you to rest. The circular route of around 3 kilometers in length, which begins at the Wilhelmsteg in Heuzert, is mostly flat, easy to walk and leads over three bridges (footbridges). A pretty, narrow hiking trail, a little above the river "Große Nister". One could describe it as "wild and romantic" - which might sound kitschy to some.
