From the Frauenberg castle ruins you have a wonderful view in all directions at any time of year. But be careful: sometimes a very cold wind blows up there! So dress warmly!

The "Jungfernloch" (Jungfern Hole) is a quiet spot with a small cottage and a deep forest pond in front of it. Unfortunately, today (May 1, 2024), no reflection could be seen because the water surface was not clear enough. Legend has it that a maiden from Homberg Castle drowned here along with her white horse many hundreds of years ago.

At the "Goldborn Natural Spring", clean spring water flows from the forest spring. If you stay three nights of full moon without moving, you can dig up the treasure buried here in a secret place. That's what the legend of the "Goldborn" says. But this place by the water is very beautiful even without the treasure and you should take some time to linger and enjoy.
