Observation platform for the banks of the Lahn with signage about the location and animals that live there!

From the Frauenberg castle ruins you have a wonderful view in all directions at any time of year. But be careful: sometimes a very cold wind blows up there! So dress warmly!

Lahnorama - Viewpoint over the Lahn

It is a superbly designed viewing point on the Marburger Kreisbahn cycle path overlooking the Lahn meadows. There are also a few information boards installed, simply fantastic.

FFH can also be defined as 'fly eats skin', at least in this area.

Just in terms of the historical background, it's a highlight.

This was not just any old post office robbery. Aside from all the local rhetoric... this place and this event are symbolic of the history of the "hinterland" in the 19th century. The post office robbers who survived their imprisonment were executed in Giessen on October 6, 1824.
