The cross commemorates Johannes Paulsen, who was murdered here on February 24, 1668. It is located at a crossroads next to some benches. A nice place to take a break, especially for families, as the kids can improve their bike control skills on a small off-road route during the break.

Beautiful area for mountain biking, walking or gravel biking. Landgoed de Hamert Landgoed de Hamert is an almost completely connected complex of dry heathland, wet heathland and fens. The dry heathland is mainly located on the drifting dunes that occur naturally here, the parabolic dunes. Bordering the fens is the wet heathland. The months of August and September are for many people the period when the heathland is at its most beautiful because of the massively flowering heather, the heathland species of the dry heathland.
