There is a football and basketball court for children and adults, so be sure to bring a ball. There is also a pump track, which is a lot of fun. The pump track is easy to ride on a mountain bike, BMX, etc. There is also a fitness stadium and a great playground. There is also a snack bar, an egg shop and supermarkets nearby. Auelsburg is well worth a visit.👍

The park owes its name to a derelict moated castle. Today's park was created in the 1990s and now includes a playground, a skate park and dog parks directly on the Veybach.

The path is still partially blocked with lying trees, which reduces the flow of the trail a bit 😕 it looks a bit like you don't want MTB riding there.

Blackberry bushes have been cleared, but trees are still on the path... It's a shame that horse riding is apparently taken much more seriously in this region than cycling/mountain biking.

The blackberry tendrils are currently making their way onto the trail. Unfortunately, 3 (!) trees have now been placed across the path. Edit (05.05.23): The trees mentioned are gone, but there are various smaller trees coming from the Heider Bergsee on the ascent, some of which can be rolled over. However, the last descent is currently impassable, it looks as if a tornado had swept through it. :-(

In itself that would be fun but forbidden and nature reserve should also respect it and let it be ... even if it's a shame ..

Yes, there are a few trees, but before and after this little trail is really fun and exciting, right on the slope ...
