On June 8th, 2024 we rode down the trail from the Nadel. It was already overgrown in the upper part. A little further down, the fun really stopped. Trees with broken, sharp branches were lying criss-cross, piled high on a fairly wide and steep section. Hoisting the bikes over there was no easy task. What a shame about this beautiful and challenging trail.

Currently blocked by several tree trunks after the steep initial section, but can be avoided somewhat hidden to the left using small trunks.

Pump track is open. Asphalt surface of the plant top notch. Mostly used by kids riding scooters. But can also be used with mtb, bmx, skateboard or inline skates.

The opening of the pump track is on Thursday, November 4th, 2021

Very nice path that leads as a single trail over the crest of a hill. In addition to the eponymous butterflies, numerous other insect species can be observed here. If you want to drive the path more quickly, you should definitely avoid the rush hour at the weekend. Because then there are numerous hikers on the way, who would be very annoying on the narrow path with sloping terrain on both sides. MTBers and hikers both have no fun with it. You should also drive on the path if you are coming from the north. Then at the end there are beautifully steep serpentines that you would probably have to push up in the opposite direction.

Quite demanding now in autumn with all the foliage. Requires a high level of concentration in downhill

Very nice DH, extremely slippery when wet.

The EggeWeg is just the right thing for experienced drivers ... there is a lot to discover but you shouldn't be too distracted by the surroundings, as it is typical for the EggeWeg that it is covered with many small and large stones there are also the sometimes treacherous tree roots that protrude from the ground and can be damn slippery when wet ... Despite all this, the EggeWeg is worth a recommendation !! I like to drive this way.
