Beautiful route, especially the single trail that runs parallel

The downhill facility is now also down. The entire route is currently being renaturalized. This means that soon nothing will be seen of the former “Death Railway”.

In summer a green idyll on the edge of the Köllnische Heide and in winter a toboggan magnet for young and old. So the former World War II bunker has had its day.

Former bunker which was filled in in the 1960s. Since then it has been used as a toboggan hill in winter.

Former World War II bunker, which was finally filled in around 1970 and has served as a toboggan hill ever since. A couple of nice trials also make it interesting for mountain bikers.

In the past toboggan run, now daring bikers are at work. The hospital is not far away. Have already given first aid there.

📍 Favorite place: Müggelberge The trails around the Müggelberge just around the corner from Berlin's largest lake, the Müggelsee, are mainly known to mountain bikers. But there are also a few flowing, if at times rather demanding, trails and forest paths that can be mastered by experienced gravel bike riders as well. And that's really fun with wider tires! The Müggelberge are also elevations formed in the Ice Age and sometimes you have a beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding area in this wooded area on top of the mountain. This trail leads from the Großer Müggelberg, the highest natural elevation in Berlin (114.7 m above sea level), and in fun curves downhill through the forest. In one or two places you may have to get off and in any case watch out for tree trunks that may be in the way. After a short break on a road, the forest path leads down to the Dahme and the Langen See.

Nice narrow trail. You should be a little careful in snow and wet!
