Coming from the Pentlinghaus, you first come across a beautiful hut cross, which offers a fantastic view, but does not mark the summit ☝🏼😉 The actual summit cross follows a little later and is a little hidden between the trees!

A really worthwhile destination (1986 m) with wide views. The local neighbours such as Rotwand, Wendelstein, Schinder and Guffert are clearly visible, but the view extends to the main Alpine ridge and the Central Alps with the Großvenediger and Großglockner. The easiest way up is from the Ackernalm, only 600 metres in altitude and about two hours. The further route to the Krenspitze is easy (T2), after that it becomes uncomfortable (T5).

The Trainsjoch is a very worthwhile mountain destination. The approach from the Ursprungtal is varied and there is also a place to stop for refreshments at the Mariandlalm. The Fritz-Koeber-Steig on the state border leads steeply uphill, but the small scrambles are also fun. At the top, if visibility is good, a full mountain panorama awaits you.

The Tiefenbach Gorge is simply beautiful and has an interesting history.

Small hidden summit cross just before the Pendlinghaus 😊. Even in summer you can usually find peace and quiet here because it is off the well-trodden forest road along a hunter's trail. The view of the Wilder Kaiser in the background is also very impressive.
