The water tastes a bit strange, especially in the drinking bottle.

Worth seeing place with historical barrows in the middle of the forest. Reachable on foot in about 15 minutes from the Bernstein outdoor pool.

At the end of Maltern you will find this spring in a small house. The special feature of this water is the extremely high magnesium content, just 1 liter to cover the magnesium daily needs of an adult. The well is well known and people come from further afield to fill their water here. Probably that's why asked for 25 cents per liter, which can be thrown in a box. But you can still drink for free.
