A beautiful idyllic landscape

Wonderful chapel located in the forest, for inner reflection, relaxation and unwinding. According to legend, the water that springs from there has a positive effect on eye diseases when you clean your eyes.

According to legend, a witch lived here who threw rocks at children and then hung them up in the "Speckkammerl". On the way here one came to read the tablets. At the end there are puzzles for children, if you solve them, you are protected from the evil witch and can approach without hesitation 😉

From Friedberg it’s all the way to Schwaighof. Always along the water. There are also historical fountains to see. A nice hiking trail.

The evangelical preacher Johann Mühlberger held a festive sermon on the occasion of the inauguration of a Sauerbrunnen in the "Herrenhauß zu Jormannsdorff on the day Jacobi Anno 1620", which was printed in the Regensburg Chronicle in 1621 in Regensburg. It is also the first written mention of the local medicinal springs.
