Parking at the valley station

The Zauberberg Bike Park on the Hirschenkogel offers action-packed trails for mountain bikers and is also a landmark for hikers in the region. From the cable car station, guests can easily reach the top of the mountain, where spectacular views and diverse trails await. While bikers enjoy the various routes, hikers can take a break here, admire the view, or start the next section of their tour.

The Semmering Hirschenkogel, at 1,340 meters (summit), is an important sports and recreation area in Austria on the border between Lower Austria and Styria. The central location, good public transport connections, and the outstanding range of activities in the Semmering region make it an easily accessible and popular destination, both in winter for skiing, snowboarding, and tobogganing, and in summer for biking, climbing, and hiking. Nice forest trail, quite steep in places.

Yes: the lowest section is no longer rideable uphill, as it's washed out, and rocks and roots make riding impossible on the steep incline. The downhill section is interesting and challenging, and a few dozen meters at the bottom are (almost?) unrideable—but you can easily push down there.
