Legend trail in Bad Erlach. There are a total of 5 wood carvings, which tell different legends. Here: the dishonest miller It was in the last years of the reign of Emperor Franz when the military in Wr. Neustadt garrison large quantities of flour were used. The Erlacher Müller H. also applied as a supplier because his large mill could work quickly. The greedy miller hit upon the idea of branching off flour and mixing it with less stretched grist. However, he was caught and arrested by a control commission. After his trial, the miller was taken to the notorious Spielberg dungeon in Brno, where he waited for his death sentence to be carried out. The relatives requested his majesty for clemency and were also prepared to pay a heavy fine. Emperor Ferdinand, the benevolent, pardoned the miller after another year of imprisonment with the following conditions: The miller had to wear a black cord around his neck at all times of the day and was not allowed to leave the mill. Only in the evening was he allowed to go out for an hour on the way behind the mill to the Linsberg border. In the event that he is at an inspection were found without a string, the sentence would be carried out. Since then, the path behind the mill has been called "Black Path".

Below the castle the Mariengrotte Kulmriegel Cave, Cat.No. 2871/13

Largest cave on the Kulmriegel, around eight meters high and ten meters deep. Natural monument since 1959 and Marian shrine since 1986. Prehistoric ceramic finds indicate an old cult site. A hole on the left side of the cave was probably used as a "crawl stone". Whoever crept through there could shed hardship and disease.
