One of the most extensive MtB areas in the Oberland...great.

In terms of the landscape, it's worth a descent. However, when I visited (September 23), the trail was riddled with braking waves throughout. Technically not particularly demanding/difficult.

The Bergkastel Trail is one of the longest in a region that is bursting with long and well-maintained trails. You can easily get to the start with the cable car. The descent doesn't seem to want to end. It's more than four kilometers downhill to the valley. This trail is not a favorite of some locals for nothing.
