Very neat rose garden. A treat for the eyes and nose!

The viewing platform serves to avoid disturbing the birds near the shore. Entering the shore area is prohibited by law. Please note this. With the ordinance of the Leibnitz district authority of May 26, 1978, the area between the Mur bridge in Bachsdorf and the Gralla power plant on the Mur was declared a nature reserve (bird sanctuary).

The vinegar rose is a wild rose species found in St. Stefan im Rosental and has served as a coat of arms for the municipality since 1954. The five leaves are assigned the basic elements earth-plants-fire-air-water.

The rosarium in St. Stefan im Rosental is a public park that impresses with its special floral splendor. The sea of flowers is located in the 10,000 m² amusement park in the center of the village and impresses with more than 500 rose bushes in about 100 different types of roses. Historic rose varieties can also be found here, as well as lovely wild roses and the typical English rose. Rare specimens such as the "Green Rose", a Rosa viridiflora, can also be discovered in the Rosarium.

There may be a shouting and chattering there! The backwater of the Gralla power station is an Eldorado for geese, ducks, herons ... whatever is around here ... it's worth seeing! Therefore there is also an observatory! An absolute resting place, not just for families!

Small oasis of calm for humans and animals. In addition to the extensive shore area, there is also a covered ornithological station from which even the little ones can safely observe all the aquatic animals. Some animals have already gotten used to humans, so you can get really close.

The Sulmbad Zur Steinernen Wehr, the oldest river bath in Styria, is an insider tip. Here visitors can cool off in the cool waters of the Sulm. This bath is a natural opportunity for young and old to swim, play or just relax. The Sulmbad was built in 1929 by Franz Pratter Senior and was well attended right from the start. In 1948 there was even a water tower with a slide, where young bathers pumped the water up by hand. In 1996, Franz Pratter Junior and his wife took over the entire river pool, adapted it and renovated it. In addition to bathing opportunities, the Flussbad zur Steinernen Wehr, according to its own information, offers river jumping, football & volleyball, slackline, table tennis, canoeing, campfires and camping. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash.
