A beautiful highlight on a long, grassy ridge, connected to a multitude of different riding options. Living up to its name, the summit offers excellent views of the Dent du Midi region, as well as the surrounding mountains, making this peak an excellent place to stop for lunch and enjoy the panorama.

Lake Hongrin is an artificial basin located in the canton of Vaud. The water is treated in the Veytaux power plant and then flows into Lake Geneva. it is possible to bathe only in certain places. Also, since the area around the lake is a military shooting range, access during the week is often restricted or prohibited.

Lake Lioson is also known as the “Pearl of the Alpine Lakes”. You will enjoy views of mountains, forests, rivers and wildflowers. The trail is moderately difficult, with an elevation gain of 1,443 feet. The best time to visit this trail is from May to October, when the weather is pleasant and the lake is clear. You can also stop at the Lac Lioson restaurant to eat or have a drink. This trail is a great way to discover the beauty and culture of the Vaud region.
