The best place to have a picnic or a little rest, the area of the wall is very cold, since the sun never shines and there is a lot of wind. But from where the photo was taken, it is quite well insulated from the wind and it is where the sun shines the most.

From the car park at the Rütenen sunbathing lawn, it's about a 15-minute walk to the dinosaur rock and climbing garden 🧗♂️. Around 120 m high limestone slab directly on the shore of Lake Lucerne about 3 km east of the Beckenried boat station. 8 routes from 4th to 7th difficulty levels are fully equipped. The plate is hardly exposed to sunlight in winter and is therefore particularly recommended in the summer months.
