Unfortunately, the summit climb was difficult at the end of May due to the snow-covered Kaiseregg Pass. In spring, with persistent snow, it's only recommended for experienced and/or well-equipped hikers. Crampons and poles were a must for me!

The Turrian Bridge is one of the last remaining suspension bridges. Built in 1883, it still withstands the passage of pedestrians and cyclists. With every step, it challenges your sense of balance.

The Turrian Bridge is the oldest suspension bridge in French-speaking Switzerland. It was built in 1883 and crosses the Sarine. It is a historical and cultural monument which offers a dizzying view of the forest, the waterfall and the gorges. The bridge is accessible on foot from the village of Château-d'Oex, which is also a popular destination for hot air balloon flights. The bridge is part of a 6.2 km loop that takes you to the Ramaclé waterfall and the Gérignoz gorges.
