going down the hill is a bit sketchy. while the road is generally in good condition, there is a lot of loose gravel. I was riding a road bike and it felt a bit unsafe

Steep. Good asphalt, narrow streets and little traffic. Most of the time you drive in the forest, but there are also some nice views of the surrounding area.
