The trail is also part of some gravel tours and can generally be ridden with a gravel bike, although yesterday, for example, the blackberry bushes were so thick that I had to carry my bike on my shoulders and walk several times after my legs were already sore. Without appropriate, protective MTB pants (which most gravel bikers certainly don't wear), it's not really recommended. When I noticed that the last section was even more overgrown (I had already removed plant stems from the pulley after the tall grass), I took the country road. A few times, the thorny blackberry branches had grown across the path at upper body height, and everyone dismounted at that point.

The “PumpTreck facility” for the kids is located just outside of Groß-Umstadt, so the kids can run around here “without being disturbed”.
