The Laubensteingatterl is a small saddle between the Laubensteinalm and the so-called Eiskeller. Anyone who has struggled up the 300 steep (up to 20%) meters from the Frasdorfer Hüttn has now completed the hardest part. The route continues towards the Trockenbachtal with only a slight hill, but is a little rougher.

The path to the Scheibenwand is not well signposted, so it is very quiet here... on the way up you have wonderful views, e.g. over to the Kampenwand
