Definitely great for rocking in the summer, but things can get tricky when the ground is wet and muddy in the fall.

The Jakobsberg, popularly known as Leberblümchenberg, is a nature reserve with a size of 47.3 hectares in the Amshausen district of the municipality of Steinhagen (Westphalia) in the district of Gütersloh. It is listed with the number GT-015 and consists of two adjoining individual areas that are privately owned. The nature reserve is plant-geographically significant because it represents the north-western limit of the distribution area of the endangered liverwort in Europe. In addition, it is a location of unspoilt low and medium forest. When the liverworts are in bloom from mid-March, the area is a heavily frequented tourist attraction. At the same time, several species of violets bloom at the edge of the forest. A little later, large numbers of white and occasionally yellow wood anemones bloom. The cowslip blooms in April. There are also the red and blue flowering lungwort, woodruff and dog's mercury. (Source: Wikipedia)

Nice trail that is fun. There are many small paths that provide variety 😎👍

Very tricky but also fun! I would advise beginners to check beforehand whether it is really something for them, as the trail is very technical and steep.

Oh man, how many times have I driven through this forest. Great in summer, in the other months the wood of the bridges becomes mirror-smooth
