The modern observation tower, approximately 30 meters high, was built in 2014. From its platform, one can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of surrounding mountains such as the Hohe Acht, the Aremberg, the Michelsberg, and the Nürburgring when visibility is good. Information panels explain the directions of the view and make orientation easier.

Small loop around the Kronenburger Lake. Unfortunately, wheelchair users cannot complete a complete loop as only one side is asphalted and the opposite side is rocky and not paved.

The 30-metre observation tower was built at the end of 2014 to replace the previous tower that stood here from 1973 to 2011. Climb up the 147 steps to enjoy a panoramic view of your surroundings from an elevation of 720 metres.

The Kronenburger See was built between 1973 and 1977 as a flood retention basin. The lake has been a popular destination for sailors, surfers, anglers and swimmers for years. During the summer months, the lido on the southern shore of the lake with its large lawn invites you to swim and sunbathe. In addition, the entire southern lake area can be navigated with surfboards, pedal boats and rowing boats (boat rental). Tennis courts, mini golf course, kiosk and playground complete the leisure activities on the south bank.

In the Urftweiher you can admire the diverse flora and fauna. Toads are croaking, dragonflies are buzzing through the air and there is buzzing and splashing everywhere. The Urft, which has its source only a few kilometers away, feeds a veritable cornucopia of life here at the pond. (outdoor.active.com)

Located just a few kilometers behind the Urft spring, this idyllic pond offers a habitat for numerous animals and plants. A visit is particularly worthwhile in the summer months.

The idyllic Urftweiher lies in the middle of the forest. At the edge, a bench invites you to take a breather. Geese cavort on the pond, and dragonflies can also be observed in summer.
