Our Kaiserweiher is a jewel, a unique selling point ... With over 10,000 animals, the amphibian population at the Kaiserweiher is one of the largest in Bavaria. Unfortunately, the pond is now cut off from roads on three sides and constricted by building areas. So there is only one free access for the amphibians migrating to their spawning grounds, namely at the technical college in the west. Great little pond that is home to a number of bird species and a nice place to chill 😎

The beautifully landscaped biotope is home to numerous animal species and is idyllically located in the middle of the Allgäu landscape. The location makes it one of the most popular residential areas in Kaufbeuren. There are playgrounds and football fields around the lake, and in winter the cross-country ski trail leads along here.

There is an alpaca llama farm nearby, tours are possible, but please ask the operator.
