The Eriskircher Ried is a beautiful nature reserve.

The entire area is dedicated to nature conservation and the preservation of biodiversity. There are numerous information boards indicating what to observe and where. The associated center offers various lectures for those interested. A big shout-out to the volunteers who do so much work.

The Schussen is a 59-kilometre-long tributary of Lake Constance and thus a right and northern tributary of the Rhine in the southern part of Baden-Württemberg in Germany.

The view of the Alpine chain and the surrounding area with the orchards from the Haldenberg chapel is impressive.

Great place to stop.

Although lying on the (quiet) district road, it is a beautiful place with a view of the Schleinsee estate with the court chapel and the private Schleinsee. There are also benches above the farm near the water reservoir with a great view of Lake Schlein and Lake Constance, including the Säntis massif.
