This route is also called the "Kaltenbronner Wand." It's quite demanding, but also beautiful 🤩

Already in Reichental, the climb begins at a 10% gradient. The first part of the road is quite poor, especially downhill, but improvements seem to be made annually. The last 4 to 5 kilometers are significantly more pleasant, as the gradient becomes flatter and you can enjoy the beautiful view. The Schwarzmiss Pass is located at 933 meters.

New surface - making it one of the best descents in the whole area. The sharp curves are challenging, but a lot of fun and the gradient ensures a good speed. However, in the evenings and on weekends and public holidays there are many motorized racers on the road who endanger others and themselves with their high spirits - unfortunately a widespread problem here. I would therefore recommend the morning hours - preferably on weekdays. Uphill, this is THE climb to Kaltenbronn that you can torture yourself on

Unfortunately, the entire area is cordoned off, so there is no possibility to take a break on the seating.

currently still construction site. That would have to be the last part to be repaired. The chances are good to have a super nice track with a great surface next year. Unfortunately sometimes a lot of cars and mopeds.
