Above the path along the Wupper there is a path that leads to a spring.

The Lucasweg is a really great path, which meanders along the slope above the Wupper. There are a few places on the Wupper where you can take a break. Busy on sunny weekends though.

A short detour to the rapids in front of the mouth of the Wupper in the Rhine is worthwhile at any time of the year

A nice place for a leisurely break

The Japanese garden has its own character. Due to its island location, embedded in the Carl Duisberg Park, it appears mysterious, enchanted and hidden. The fixtures are striking, such as the teahouse, the red bridges and gates, and the ponds that surround the garden. The sound of rippling water is omnipresent and present in every season, as the ponds are supplied with fresh water 24 hours a day, which flows into the ponds through cascades.
