The Hörlesbuck in Heidenheim-Degersheim is the sixth highest point in Middle Franconia and offers beautiful views over the rolling hills of the area.

Short climb not recommended because of too much traffic

The climb is one of the steepest in the area. It even made it into the passes at quäldich. https://www.quaeldich.de/paesse/egenhausen-pass/. When descending, watch out for the poor asphalt. There is often dirt in the bends. Not suitable for high-speed records. I am much faster downhill on the gravel bike than on the racing bike.

Great hill with a view of Absberg and the lake to the north, to Pfofeld and the hills to the south ⛰️ narrow asphalt road, short sections with concrete slabs, great route 🚴🏻

The Hörlesbuck (635 m above sea level) is one of the highest road crossings on the Hahnenkamm.

Nice climb before descending to the lake. Nice view in both directions.
