The Tüfelschlucht is truly a fascinating place. The combination of rushing waterfalls, moss-covered rocks and lush greenery creates a unique and calming atmosphere. I can only recommend the tour of Aarburg Fortress.

Imposing bridge over the Aare. You should take it with you on a sightseeing tour. Already in Roman times there was a fort in Olten at the site of the old bridge to protect the river crossing. Super nice, the bridge! You have a nice view of part of the old town.

Strenuous... but somehow cool. On the steps in between, you quickly get chatting to other hikers who are gasping for air and are secretly happy that you are not the only one who is having trouble getting enough oxygen. It's a shame I don't live here, it would be a great fitness workout.

Mighty fortress / castle on the Aare in the direction of Olten.

It's actually 1,150 steps so +280m over c.1.8 km

A highlight of this bridge. But also the old town of Oltern. In summer you can enjoy this view in the restaurant directly on the Aare.
