Aarau's old town is a great place to linger, especially on beautiful summer evenings. There are many restaurants with outdoor seating. But you can also just stroll through the alleys, admire the open city stream or visit the filming locations of The Undertaker.

This tour is worth it to switch off. Pure nature and great area

Today I was also able to climb the tower, previous years mostly closed because of Covid. The 253 steps have it all. Once at the top, you have a wonderful view all around. Unfortunately very hazy today, I only saw as far as Halwielersee. That's why I'll climb the tower again another time.
