Impressive large ruin with many fireplaces. If you are sure-footed and have a head for heights, you can climb the tower, which offers a wonderful view. The ascent is on a steep path in the rock with a wire rope as an aid.

I can only recommend the tour of Aarburg Fortress.

The ascent to the right via the hiking trail is very steep and fun. Unfortunately, you can't see much of the Schlössli itself and you have no view. One of the fronts is quite nice though. Access to the restaurant in the Schlössli is limited in time. The Schlössli is nice to look at from afar, e.g. from the Alt Wartburg.

Mighty fortress / castle on the Aare in the direction of Olten.

A beautiful ruin that also offers a good view. It's a pity there aren't any more rooms, there's only the floor plan. Nevertheless, the walls are imposing and definitely worth a visit.

A dreamlike journey through time to the place where the Aare flows backwards. You absolutely must have seen the Aarewoog. Stroll through the alleys, past the incredibly imposing buildings and let yourself be enchanted! A stop at one of the restaurants such as the venerable Bären is simply part of a tour of Aarbig, as the locals call the town.

A nice old town that is worth a short visit. Very nice to look at with the castle on the hill.

Opening times during the season (normally closes at the end of October), the castle is open to visitors and to enjoy the castle garden on Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. https://www.wartenfels.ch/
